My first website is in honour of my parents, Bill and Miriam Chinn, who I lost within 2 years of each other - my mother dying in July 2007. They were the greatest support and role models in my world. They bought me my first typewriter. It cost £5, which was a lot of money in 1965. My mum must have known then that I would spend the rest of my life writing as well as teaching others how to touch type and use the typewriter's little brother - the personal computer.Miriam and Bill Chinn

Not only did I loose my parents, but I also lost my best friend in 2007. She was far too young at 57. Davina and I had been together since we were 5 when we met at the school gate. There is also a page in her honour here.

2006 was a bad year - my ex-husband, Alan, lost his brother Ian, aged 36, and his early demise was devasting for him. His memory lives on and he and my friend Davina lie just a few yards from each other at Shedfield Church graveyard.
